The Game Of Persuasion

Today we played the game of persuasion. The children had to think of a big and bold idea and convince me that I should share the same opinion as them.

Today the children tried to persuade me to buy items from what they brought to our hui. Check out all of the items I bought! Magic pencils that brought anything I drew to life, non toxic glue sticks, glue sticks that stick to anything like a monkey, maths books with all of the answers and some worksheets and a green book bag that when you reached your hand in and pulled out something it was whatever you wanted it to be! Oh and a ruler that ruled straight lines! great job kids.

Miss Hill is sick today....

There are lots of bugs going around and unfortunately your teacher has them!  Don't panic! You are in the capable hands of Mrs Staddon and you also have Mr Jensen.

Don't forget that homework is due tomorrow (Luck Dip is next week).  I will take you through your priorities on Monday morning, so don't worry about that:)

The plan for the day is

• Anthony will show the morning Daily Demo - Class captain video for last week
• Homework Due and Prize Puzzler - aiming for 100%
• Literacy Bookings
• Spelling - Mrs Staddon and Mr Jensen will test you (or you may be asked to test a buddy)
• New words go onto spelling sheet and home learning (you need both sheets to be checked for accuracy)
• Gymnastics

Visit From Alan

Today we had a very special visit from Alan. He works at the Library, in the Youth Space. He helped us develop our speech ideas. He is going to be working with us again next week. Thanks to Ella's mum who arranged this visit:)

Today we visited the Life Education Classroom. We met Tim, the classroom educator. We learned about making connections with our brain by playing a clapping game. We looked at our bodies and what it makes us who we are.
